FUN Guitar/Ukulele for Kids program!

 

Ukulele for Kids is a class where the students get to sing, play, and have fun! We'll be exploring the fundamentals and history of the Ukulele through popular songs and performance. Students will learn chord chart reading and notation and will help chose the pieces that they learn. Topics will include its origins in 19th century Hawaii, ukulele classics, and adaptations of popular songs for ukulele.  By the end of the 10 weeks, students will feel comfortable with ukulele basics and have a small repertoire of music to take with them to wherever the ukulele leads them.
